JET - CARTRIDGE-FILTERS
In the cartridge filter the dust is deposited
into external surfaces of the pleated special non-woven filter media.
A high-efficiency "COANDA" ANNULAR GAP injector cleans the large filter
surfaces of the cartridges continuously and fully automatically at intervals of
between 1 - 10 minutes with pulses of compressed air at pressures of 4 - 6 bar
with a pulse duration of 0.1 - 0.2 secs.
The compressed air enters the "COANDA" ANNULAR GAP injector radially
and leaves it in axial direction.
Large quantities of air are therefore drawn in through the first and second stage
of the injector, which reverses the flow of air through the filter media thereby
effecting an optimum cleaning of the filter surfaces.
In the filtration phase the cleaned gas flows directly to the clean gas manifold
without passing the first injector stage.
