Hans-Albert Färber GmbH was founded in 1984 by Mr. Hans-Albert Färber and is located in the German seaport city of Hamburg — a name that stands for international trade and a future-orientated economy, coupled with the traditional Hanseatic spirit of commerce.

The company is specialised in the export of high-quality technical products to light and heavy industries throughout the world. Our roots are in the cement industry, and this remains our primary focus to this day. By word-of-mouth recommendation we constantly gain customers in new industries whose spare part demand is alike.

From its founding, the company has been an independent, family-owned enterprise. We buy and sell products of internationally recognised manufacturers. We do not offer standard solutions, but special services — including freight forwarding — tailored in detail to the individual customer's requirements.

Many of the plants we supply have been running for decades. If a type designation is no longer legible or a part has been superseded, we clarify it with the manufacturer before we quote — that is part of the quotation, not an extra service.

We purchase directly from German and European manufacturers, using relationships built over four decades.

Inspection & consolidation

All goods are inspected in our Hamburg warehouse and consolidated into one economical shipment.

Documentation & dispatch

Complete export documentation including certificates of origin, then dispatch by sea or air freight to your port.

Three departments, one supplier

Purchasing negotiates with the manufacturers, sales prepares your quotation, dispatch handles inspection, consolidation and customs papers. Each is done by people who do it every day. What reaches you is one quotation, one shipment and one set of documents — the coordination between manufacturers stays on our side.

Bought directly from the manufacturer

We purchase from the manufacturers themselves, not through intermediaries. That is what makes original parts, binding delivery dates and traceable origin possible — and it is the basis for the certificates of origin we issue with your shipment.

An answer when the original is gone

Where a manufacturer has stopped supplying a part, we look for the successor type or a compatible make from our programme and send you the technical data with the quotation. The decision stays with you.
